Bradley Mock | Principal

Brad has more than 25 years’ experience in the medical education and pharmaceutical industries. He founded QDcme, and he previously co-founded QD Holdings and its subsidiaries, QD Healthcare Group and Continuing Education Alliance (CEA), in 2000.

Brad co-managed QD Healthcare Group until its sale in 2012. He then served as CEO of CEA and was responsible for conceiving and launching the Practicing Clinicians Exchange (PCE), a continuing education live and online platform exclusively for NPs and PAs. As CEO and Chairman of PCE/CEA Holdings, Brad was responsible for the acquisition of Clinical Care Options (CCO) in early 2019 when he also was a member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to QD Holdings, Brad was Executive Vice President of Doctors Net Access, where he joined the company’s management team to build and grow the company. Prior to DNA, Brad was a principal of Clinical Communications Group. He joined the company as a startup and helped grow the business to over 170 employees in less than 6 years. Brad began his career in the pharmaceutical industry working for Syntex and Berlex Laboratories.

Craig Borders  | Vice President, Scientific Director 

Craig has over 30 years of experience in creating continuing education content. Prior to QDcme, he served as Vice President, Managing Scientific Director, at Practicing Clinicians Exchange (PCE), Senior Vice President, Scientific Director, at The Curry Rockefeller Group, and Vice President, Medical Director, at Guidemark Health. 

Craig has a strong record of success in developing continuing education at all stages—from needs assessment and grant proposal to execution of content and analysis of measurable, clinically relevant outcomes. He has delivered continuing education in a variety of formats, including CME/CE slide decks, videos, webcasts, podcasts, case-based learning, and interactive decision support tools. In addition to hands-on experience as a medical/scientific writer, Craig has extensive experience supervising and mentoring teams of medical writers, as well as cultivating strong faculty relationships.   

As a writer or as a manager, Craig has experience creating scientific content in a number of therapeutic areas, including autoimmune disease, cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, chronic pain, and oncology. 

Mary Kay Barton | MD, Medical Advisor

At QDcme, Mary Kay advises on medical education content development, faculty liaison, and grant writing, covering a wide array of oncology topics. She currently is the Executive Medical Director, Medical Oncology, at EviCore by Evernorth. 

Previously, Mary Kay served for 20 years as a community oncologist in Westchester County, New York, where she was on staff at Northwell Health (Northern Westchester Hospital) in Mount Kisco and at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow.   

Mary Kay has experience with a wide variety of cancers, including lung, breast, colorectal and gynecologic cancers, as well as with hematologic malignancies.  She also has experience developing continuing medical education and collaborating with the American Cancer Society, where she wrote the Perspectives article in their publication CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians for 5 years.   

Mary Kay received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. She is board certified in medical oncology. 

Deborah Augustus | Vice President, Educational Strategy 

Debbie is a skilled medical education professional with over 20 years of successful experience in strategic planning, operations and project management, relationship building, direct/indirect team leadership, and development. Her experience spans across various healthcare education organizations, including association management, patient education, and medical education companies. She has focused on oncology and malignant hematology education since 2006.      Debbie has presented at numerous conferences and volunteers with the Collaboration for Outcomes Using Social Media in Oncology (COSMO).

Sapana Panday  | Vice President, Educational Strategy 

Sapana earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s in public health, socio-medical sciences, from Columbia University. Now, at QDcme, she uses both her academic knowledge as well as her years of experience in adult learning to develop impactful programs that meet the true needs of today’s learners. She brings a unique perspective from her upbringing in the underdeveloped nation of Nepal where education was a privilege afforded to the few, to her days as a health educator in the troubled schools of New York City. She is a frequent speaker at many conferences and an advocate for extending the reaches of CME into the public health arena.   

Sapana has held numerous volunteer positions with the ACEhp, including on the Almanac Editorial Board and as the co-chair for the inaugural Diversity, Inclusion and Access committee. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for Medical Minds Matter, a volunteer-led startup nonprofit organization that seeks to transform the narrative of mental health in the medical field through storytelling, community-building, and grassroots advocacy efforts.
